tokyo has been great. weve basically been taking a train to each main part of town and just walking around for a few hours. a few days ago we went to a cafe that serves only cake by girls dressed in maid outfits? everyone is really nice, but finding a place to eat is almost impossible- either no english menu or no pictures to order from. coming home tomorrow around 9 am

Tokes pt 1
Just got to tokyo tonight- we are staying in probably the nicest looking city i have ever been in. it is so clean and everyone is dressed like they are going to some party that i would never be invited to. City is called Ginza- hotel compliments of nicky buns. softest beds of the entire trip, which i am eager to use as we once again ended up pulling an all nighter in bangkok before our 6 am...

Back to Bangkok
Took an overnight bus from koh phangan all the way up to Bangkok the other night, not that bad- Arrived around 7 in the morning and booked a place around koh san road. right now we are staying at a place with a pool on the roof for about 9 dollars a night. Last night we just ate a ton of street food- pad thai for 20 cents? amazing. Went to wat pho where i think the worlds largest laying down gold...

Yesterday we walked around the island a bit more and ended up on a fishing expedition. Us 4 went out with 3 Thai guys who spoke zero english and went fishing Thai style (a fishing line with a hook at the end). After some beers and some extreme patience, I caught 4 massive sea bass (actually 4 fish a little bit bigger than a goldfish). We were out in the middle of the sea on a wooden Thai boat...

greetings from koh phangan
Currently on an island off the coast of Thailand- got here after much travelling. a few days ago we took a 4 hour long insane bus ride from Vang Vieng into Vientiane through the mountains, then a tuk tuk to the Loas/Thailand border, then a hour long car ride to the airport (which was closed- so we had to stay the night in the air port hotel…sounds lame, but there was definitely a karaoke bar...

Vang Vieng
Hey yalls- so today is the third day in vang vieng. this city is outrageous. we took a 5 hour van ride on the windiest road i have probably ever been on through the mountains of loas. to say the least it was pretty great. i had to take a nap when we got here though because of how nervous i was of getting screaming diarrhea on the way- all good though. I guess ill keep my consistency updates for...

stop in the name of Laos
Past few days have been great- time is going by slow and fast at the same time. Yesterday the group rented some bicycles and just stolled around the area- really cool. We went to that same 50 cent vegetarian place for dinner again. Today we took a tuk tuk about 30 minutes from the town to a group of waterfalls and swimming pools. It was a sight to see, but unfortunately i spent most of the time...

Updates from da east
Wow, so a lot has happened since my last chance for internet exposure. Starting from a few days past : Our flight from Taipei to Bangkok went well, only a few hours and we got in around midnight. We had hotel arrangements in khao san road which is a pretty big tourist spot, but decided to veto the whole sleeping idea to save some cash. (We had a flight leaving the next morning at 10am, so...
