So, I just awoke from my first real full-horizontal sleep in Tainan (Southern Taiwan, where garret lives). The crew finally got in last night at 5 am local time after about 26 hours of travel, bus rides, and absolutely terrible plane food (pasta with cut up hot dogs?) and we headed down to the 7-11 down the street for some beers and snacks. Things are going well and Garret’s place is really really nice. I need to get used to having people talk to me and having absolutely no idea what is going on. It is the Chinese New Year starting today so everyone is pretty excited around these parts. Someone drove up to us last night and in broken English said, “I love America, I…. hope… Obama can fix the… economy” K. Thanks for the tip (Just being rude, he was a  nice guy). Garret states that people love to stop him just to chat about whatever to practice their English.

Randomized thoughts, but my mind is pretty unorganized right now….

I’m going to see how this blogging thing works out to spread my word, but I might just get bored of it so we’ll have to see…
