Breakfast : went to 7/11 for breakfast, which is one of the hottest spots around, literally. Normal to just pick up any meal there all day. They have these things called “Tea Eggs”

Lunch: scooted over to downtown tainan and it was the first time realizing we are in a different part of the world. We walked around for about 5 hours and did not see one other white person, but thousands of asians… outside the stores they have women in costumes that just talk on the loud speakers trying to get people to come into the stores. so crowded everywhere. Had thai food and schmidty had his first experience with a squatter- basically a hole in the ground used for pooping.

Dinner: Came back to the area around Garret’s and had Japanese food that was amazing. Sashimi, “korean pizza”, and a ton of other food. So far, the food has been pretty good if you can somehow find someone that speaks english or read the menu- which actually isnt very common.

It’s Chinese New Year here so everyone has been pretty excited.

Going to bangkok tomorrow….
