Hey yalls- so today is the third day in vang vieng. this city is outrageous. we took a 5 hour van ride on the windiest road i have probably ever been on through the mountains of loas. to say the least it was pretty great. i had to take a nap when we got here though because of how nervous i was of getting screaming diarrhea on the way- all good though. I guess ill keep my consistency updates for the other blog *wink* we have been staying at a guest house for about 3 dollars a night at the base of a massive mountain. at night we have been going to this place called the smile bar which is basically an outdoor rave and they serve drinks called buckets which are what they sound like- for 2 dollars you get a bucket filled with alcohol of your choice, red bull, and soda. thank god i dont drink or else things would be getting messy… Yesterday we tubed down a river in these parts surrounded by bars (serving buckets) and the biggest rope swings i have ever seen. so many bros doing back flips.
